March 12, 2021 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am

Facilitator:
CSTC Tribal Chief Mina Holmes

Panelists:
Kwanlin Dün First Nation Chief Doris Bill
Yukon Regional Chief Kluane Adamek
Lateral Violence Workshop Facilitator Annita McPhee

Resolution 13 was submitted to the Assembly of First Nations’ Annual General Assembly calling for leadership in ending sexual orientation and gender-based discrimination.

The resolution positions the call to action within several articles of UNDRIP and specifies a number of steps with the intent of ending this type of discrimination.

Our discussion will use the AFN Resolution 13 as a jumping off point for a discussion on how we can all become better role models in ending discrimination, while also exploring the reasons for submitting the resolution.
