Announcement: New TSU Manager!
Christina grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario, with parents who migrated from Finland, learning English when she entered school. At 19, she moved north to work at a fly-in fishing resort in the Yukon to fund her Bachelor of Non-Profit Studies at Mount Royal College.
To support her second year, Christina relocated to Fort McMurray, where she built a long-term career in the energy sector, earning her Level 2 Welding Inspector certification and becoming an Authorized Inspector for Cenovus. She spent several years working in remote camp environments before transitioning roles to focus on family life. Over the last three years, Christina has worked as a Project Manager, bringing her operational and leadership experience into project delivery and coordination.
Christina has lived in Calgary, Kelowna and Edmonton and now proudly calls Prince George home, where she has lived for the past nine years with her son, daughter and spouse. Outside of work, she volunteers as a fitness instructor and enjoys camping, fishing, and hiking with her family and their Cane Corso dog. Family and community are central to her life, and she is deeply passionate about non-profit work—making her excited to contribute her experience and values to the sector.
